STEP 1: Get the book

In whatever format you select, make sure you have a copy before joining the IMA Book Club discussions.
STEP 2: JOIN THE COMMUNITY
Unlike a more traditional book club, where we may meet in a cafe or someone’s home, this one will be virtual. The beauty of it is that anyone, from anywhere in the world, can participate. IMA is based in Arizona, USA, so any live discussions will be announced in our time zone (MST), but we’ll make it easy for you to convert it into your own. Meanwhile, let’s keep each other accountable and engage in lively discussions in an online community.

There is an approval process, so after you answer the questions, give the moderators a day or so. Once you’re in the group, please introduce yourself. Let us know what drew you to the book club. Perhaps you just want to read more in 2021? Or you like the idea of being part of an informal community of people interested in exploring the current book selection, in the context of conflict? Or perhaps you are intrigued by the title and what that means for your work/life/career? Or perhaps you just want to make new friends? Heck, whatever the reason, we want to hear from community members!

STEP 4: LIVE DISCUSSION
There will be a total of three live discussions for this book club. These discussions will each be held on Zoom for one hour starting at noon (MST/PDT) on the following days: October 22, October 29 and November 5, 2021.

The live group discussions will be held on Zoom, so all you need is a device with a webcam (smartphone, tablet or computer) and working internet.
