We engage clients in conversations that lead to positive and productive interactions. How? By providing the following services:
- conflict management training
Improving the way we communicate can mitigate conflicts that get in the way of enjoying life to its fullest. Sound touchy-feely? Don't worry, we don't aim to unleash ground-breaking solutions to world peace.
We hope to start a ripple effect that improves interactions and reduces conflicts. It's definitely a feel-good approach.
We don't ask clients to sacrifice values or character. Simply put, we work with you to explore opportunities to reach better solutions through communication, negotiation and clarification. We all stand to gain from shifting our approach if it leads to mutual understanding in homes, communities, workplaces and -- just maybe -- the world.

Interaction Management Associates
Since 2005
Kate, along with three Arizona State University professors in the Hugh Downs School for Human Communication, developed the mission and vision of IMA. We saw the need to create an organization that helped individuals and organizations improve their interactions in order to reduce the costs -- production, emotional and financial -- associated with conflict.
IMA provides mediation and conflict management services in Chandler. Our firm works with individuals, corporations, government entities, educational institutions and charitable organizations in all sizes and stages of development. We provide high-quality mediation services and conflict management training.
While Kate Otting is the primary contact for training and mediation, she remains closely linked with associates with whom IMA contracts for additional services and training as needed.
IMA's mission
To promote productive and cooperative human interactions.
